From 10 to 13 December, Jalios took part in the 15th edition of the Education and Research Networking Days (JRES) in Rennes. This key event in the sector brought together the main players in education and research to discuss the challenges and innovations shaping the future of digital technology in education.
Jalios, along with its partner Lùkla, was present to assert its role and contribution to the digital transformation of educational establishments and laboratories. Its AI-enhanced Digital Workplace was at the heart of the discussions, highlighting its versatility, innovation, and suitability for the specific challenges of education.
A look back at the event with @Thomas Feignon, Pre-Sales Consultant at Jalios and @Yoann Romain, Jalios Business Engineer and Jean-Guillaume Buvry, Lukla Atlantique Agency Director.
This year's JRES confirmed the crucial importance of digital issues in teaching and research. It highlighted the common concerns of the players in this sector: the modernisation of digital tools and the fluid integration of teams and students in an environment that is increasingly constrained by budgets.
In response to these challenges, Jalios presented its Digital Workplace, a collaborative platform designed for the education sector. Thanks to its tailored functionalities, such as interconnection with schools‘ information systems (business applications, school management) and an intuitive mobile application to bring together all profiles, the Jalios solution improves operational efficiency while optimising schools’ investments. Its financial flexibility provides a practical response to budgetary constraints, while its innovative tools facilitate digital transformation by making the user experience more fluid and productive.
“The show was also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with our customers, such as the University of Poitiers, the University of Strasbourg, the École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique (EHESP), and the Académie de Paris. These discussions have confirmed the relevance of Jalios solutions to today's challenges and have enabled us to identify new ways in which we can provide even better support to the education sector" says Yoann Romain, Business Engineer at Jalios.
According to Thomas Feignon, pre-sales consultant at Jalios, another key topic at this year's event was ‘the adoption of AI, which must be simple and gradual’. “Attendees were very interested to see how Jalios integrates AI into its Digital Workplace to automate repetitive tasks and offer personalized recommendations, while facilitating adoption through intuitive tools. During the demonstrations, I showed the concrete benefits of AI: saving time, improving collaboration and reducing the administrative burden.”
Jean-Guillaume Buvry, Agency Director at Luklà Atlantique, confirms this, placing the emphasis on support: “To avoid resistance, tailored support, with training and practical demonstrations, helps teams to feel confident. We need to be able to show how AI can be adopted seamlessly and beneficially in higher education, highlighting its concrete benefits for users.”
