Jalios at RIRSE 2024: Intranet, Digital Workplace and Extranet against a backdrop of generative AI!

On 3 & 4 December 2024, Jalios was present at RIRSE, the flagship event for the Digital Workplace, Digital Working, Digital Communication, Collaboration, and Intranet community. This not-to-be-missed annual event for professionals in the sector highlights various case studies, in particular this year's feedback from the Grand Est Region, which uses Jalios as a platform for its Intranet, Extranet and Digital Workplace.

This 2024 edition also focused on generative AI, and the Jalios teams were able to show participants how AI is used in the Jalios Digital Workplace. By proposing alternatives to ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, and going well beyond writing assistance and traditional conversational assistants.

A look back at the event with Jean-François Pellier, Sales Director at Jalios, and Jean-Michel Lambert, Pre-Sales Manager at Jalios.

What can we learn from the 2024 edition of the RIRSE?

This year's RIRSE was particularly rewarding, both in terms of the quality of the discussions and the diversity of the players present. As a leader on the French market, Jalios confirmed its expertise in the field of the Digital Workplace and collaboration. The event highlighted the current challenges facing our customers and prospects: how to collaborate better, share information and save time.

Collaboration tools such as project management and content editing, which are easy to use and interconnected, enabling teams to work more fluidly and agilely, are still very much in vogue. The adaptability of solutions, which enables each organization to create a tailor-made digital working environment, also appears to be an important criterion. Participants were also asking questions about the benefits of generative AI, often with experiments underway.

Finally, as every year, we were delighted to welcome back our Jalios customers, this year in particular MAIF, the Croix-Rouge Française, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, and the Brittany Region.

Case study : Jalios at the Grand Est Region

Last year, INDIGO Group presented a case study of their collaborative intranet, INWEGO. Powered by Jalios and integrated with Microsoft 365, the platform is deployed in 9 countries and connects 8,000 employees, 80% of whom work in the field.

This year, Julien Becker, Head of Platformisation & Development at the Grand Est Regional Council, presented a remarkable case study of the local authority's digital transformation, through the Intranet, Digital Workplace and Extranet. His presentation showed how a platform approach can be used to pool various projects - intranet, collaborative tools, content management, etc. - on a single platform. - on a single platform.

This approach encourages the centralization of uses, simplifies access to essential tools for internal and external collaborators, and guarantees fluid collaboration. By optimising costs and simplifying systems management, it offers greater agility to organisations while enhancing their attractiveness.  The integration of advanced technologies, such as generative AI, further enhances this experience by automating repetitive tasks and improving the personalisation of content.

This vision struck a chord with participants, who were attracted by the prospect of an integrated solution to effectively manage the diversity of their projects and tools, while facilitating collaboration between agents and simplifying their day-to-day work.

What are the use cases for generative AI in a collaborative platform?

The question of generative AI came up very often during the plenary sessions and during the breaks and discussions. AI is an important lever for improving the user experience, in particular by facilitating writing and proposing relevant content. It also automates repetitive tasks, freeing up time for higher added-value activities, while making collaboration more fluid and intuitive.

The demos on the Jalios stand were a great success with attendees, as they provided a concrete illustration of what can be expected from AI in the context of a collaborative Intranet or Digital Workplace, and beyond that offered by Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.

By integrating AI into the Jalios Digital Workplace, we can establish governance over the use of AI, with use cases close to the business, ensuring a more relevant ROI, while ensuring the protection of sensitive data and total control over the information processing chain.
