Four unique days of meetings dedicated to firefighters !
Organised this year by the Midi-Pyrénées organising committee (COMIPY), the Congrès national des sapeurs pompiers de France is a not-to-be-missed annual event that brings together departmental fire and rescue services from all over France over 4 days, with almost 500 exhibitors, 3,000 delegates and tens of thousands of visitors.
The 4-day programme is packed with meetings and discoveries: new practices, technical innovations, workshops and conferences on products and services for the world of firefighting. In addition to the technical and professional aspects, the national congress of the French fire brigade is also an opportunity to recognise and promote the vital work carried out by the fire brigade in protecting the public and managing emergency situations.
Jalios Digital Workplace adopted and used daily by 19 SDIS customers
For 20 years, Jalios has been helping fire and rescue services with their digital transformation and the implementation of their Intranet.
With stakeholders spread throughout the country, including professional and volunteer firefighters, administrative staff, elected representatives and agents from other local authorities, not to mention civil protection partners, the departmental fire and rescue services need to boost their communication and collaborative practices while encouraging mobility.
In addition to these communication and cooperation challenges, it is also a question of rationalising work tools and dematerialising processes, while maintaining a very strong commitment to capitalising on and sharing knowledge for training purposes.
The 19 customers who use Jalios on a daily basis, such as Haute-Garonne (31), Charente-Maritime (17), Tarn (81), ou Landes (40) have clearly understood this and can now offer all their staff and their ecosystem (from volunteer firefighters to elected representatives) the means to :
- Make it easier to find and access information, even remotely
- Create a single point of entry to the information system for access to its resources (applications, collaboration, knowledge, etc.)
- Offer new online services to staff and the general public
- Relay internal and external communications in a coherent way
- Provide rapid, centralized access to business applications
- Be accessible remotely, in particular to link SPP and SPV staff
- Encourage staff commitment, collaboration, decompartmentalization of services and innovation
In order to meet the real needs of the departmental fire and rescue services, Jalios and its partner 1Day1Learn are also developing a training and skills acquisition application specifically for fire brigades.
In line with the requirements of the decree of 22/08/2029 on the national reference framework of activities and skills for each job, it digitizes the process of monitoring the acquisition of skills by each firefighter throughout their training, right through to certification.
