Alone we go faster, but together we go further. This proverb reflects the challenge facing companies: to increase the individual efficiency of employees without reducing collective efficiency.
This challenge is at the very heart of the Digital Workplace. According to an Opinion Way survey, while the priority for everyone is to increase efficiency, employees rely on the Digital Workplace to have more modern tools (73%) and the ability to telecommute (64%), while managers expect it to facilitate information sharing (71%) and enable better collaboration (69%).
Thus, according to the same study, the Digital Workplace is defined both as "a mobile office with a world of apps" and "a corporate portal with a collaborative intranet with centralized access to all business applications".
The partnership between Microsoft and Jalios meets these dual needs: the Microsoft 365 suite provides productivity tools in the Cloud and Jalios provides the cross-functional Intranet platform to facilitate, streamline and enrich its uses. Here are two concrete cases.
For MAIF, an insurance group with more than 10,000 employees, this cross-disciplinary Intranet platform is the single point of access to information and applications. The Digital Workplace brings up the group's news as well as the Yammer feed, Office 365 favorites (OneDrive and OneNote) and information from other Nintex BPM processes. In a self-care logic, it federates cross-functional services and provides access to different business applications according to user profiles.
For the Indigo Group, the world leader in parking with more than 20,000 employees in 11 countries, the Digital Workplace strengthens the group's culture by moving from a fragmented, local ecosystem to a unified, cross-functional tool. Thanks to SSO, employees are automatically connected to Office 365 and the Digital Workplace: they benefit from Teams and the entire Office 365 suite to collaborate in real time, while news and documentation are managed in Jalios to disseminate the group's strategy more widely and keep in touch with field and mobile users.
A true Digital Workplace accompanies the organization's digital strategy. It is also a reflection of this in the daily lives of employees: personalized with the company's colors and information system, it structures the digital environment by orchestrating access to information and applications, as well as their uses.
This environment is changing faster and faster. With Microsoft 365, employees benefit from Microsoft's dynamic product and its many innovations. With the Jalios Digital Workplace, they benefit from the collective dynamics of an increasingly agile organization. The combination of the two enables the evolution of common practices and the cross-functionality needed to break down organizational and application silos.
