The Indigo Group choose Digiwin and Jalios for its Digital Workplace

Paris, 28 November 2019 - DIGIWIN TRSb creates a digital workplace for the INDIGO Group, enabling the group's 20,000 employees to unite information, documentation and business applications that are useful on a daily basis. This platform is accessible worldwide with ongoing deployments in Europe, South America, North America and Asia. Designed by the DIGIWIN TRSb agency, based on the Jalios solution, this tool integrates the latest features developed by the software publisher, such as the integration of Office 365 e-mail, calendar and Teams modules.

Designed to promote commitment and proactivity in the company, Inwego was developed by emphasising the employee as the heart of the project.

A single workspace, accessible anywhere, anytime and from any device

Inwego has been designed in combination with the Office 365 tools used by the INDIGO group through the integration of key features (reading and responding to emails, synchronisation of Microsoft TEAMS and display of calendar events) with the intention of redesigning the INDIGO digital ecosystem.

"Our aim was to offer a unique tool to meet the needs of all subsidiaries of the group operating in 11 countries", clarified Coline Chaumont, Communications Manager in charge of the Inwego project. After the launch of Microsoft Teams in December 2018 to ensure collaboration and co-publication in project mode, Inwego needed to interconnect using existing Office tools.

More than 60% of INDIGO staff works in the field and therefore use mobility. It was therefore essential to unite all the group's tools under a single interface accessible from all devices (Responsive Design). The site has been optimised for use on computer, mobile and tablet.

With Inwego, upon launch employees can:

  • Read the group's information, comment on the news and propose articles;
  • Access all the group's applications and tools;
  • Check their emails, calendar and Teams;
  • Participate in surveys and give their opinions;
  • Consult job openings and apply.

"Our employees have access to ultra-fast and 100% user-oriented tools when they travel, go on vacation or order on the internet, as part of their daily lives. It is essential that they have this ability and fluidity in their business tools. The employee must always be at the centre of the process, and this must be without compromising on the strength of the technology." - Coline Chaumont, Communication Manager in charge of the project

A digital workplace designed for and by employees

The employees of the INDIGO group were fully involved from the start with an internal questionnaire to enable definition of the specifications. More than 30% of employees expressed their needs with a very clear requirement emerging: the need to have everything in one place, including work tools, information, up-to-date documentation, job openings and organisational charts.

More than 100 people have registered to be a tester and have a preview access to the platform.

The name Inwego was suggested by an employee through an internal quiz performed in two stages:

  • Call for contributions: "put forward your idea for a name"
  • A pre-selection process was performed with the group of ambassadors
  • Voting by the employees

Indigo - Capture Inwego

An agile mode methodology

The project was carried out over 7 months (3 months for drafting specifications and consultation, 4 months for production) by working in iterations with modules tested as and when delivered.

Launched in France on 16 October 2019 (2,300 employees), by the middle of December Inwego will integrate Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada and Brazil for eventual access to 20,000 group employees.

 "We are proud to have completed a project of such importance in record time. Indeed, Inwego was produced with internationalisation in mind (worldwide deployment) with a desire to standardise group practices and to integrate Office 365 on the platform. Our tri-partite collaboration between Jalios and Indigo is an example for future replication in terms of fluidity in our communications and responsiveness." - Loïc MARTEAU, Consulting Director

Long-term ambitions

The 2019 launch is already a success with 3 times more contributions from employees than the previous publication platform. Each employee has logged in during the first month of launch and approximately 40% of the workforce consults the tool each day.

The aim is now to further interconnect the INDIGO group's business applications: HRIS data feeds (holidays remaining, training, etc.), accounting tools (expense reports, etc.) and the Zendesk ticket tracking system.
