Responsible for fire prevention, protection and control, the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service is placed under the dual authority of the Prefect for the operational part and the General Council and the municipalities for the administrative and financial part.
The service has 1215 volunteer fire brigades, 243 professional fire brigades, 62 specialised administrative and technical staff, who carried out 21,337 operations in 2016.
The specialities of the Tarn are forest fires, water rescue, rescue and clearing, and technological risks.
The SDIS (Service Départemental d'Incendie et de Secours) of the Tarn has just started the redesign of its collaborative intranet, with Jalios, its integrator partner ASI.
This project reflects SDIS' desire to modernize its collaboration tools and soon offer more services to its collaborators and external partners thanks to a central application that has been redesigned graphically, but also functionally and technically richer.
Jalios' Digital Platform (Version 9) was chosen because the offer was considered more complete, based on functionality, user-friendliness and price, than competing solutions. The packaging specifically designed by the publisher for SDIS, called "SDIS 2000", met expectations and won the support of the project group.
This project should make it possible to deliver the solution at the end of the year and to ensure the training of the contributors and administrators of the future intranet
