For the third year running, on 5 and 6 November 2024 Jalios took part in the Greentech Forum, a key event for players in the sustainable digital sector.
We take a look back at the event with Hoang-Anh Phan, Marketing, CSR & Transformation Director at Jalios and Franck Coutureau, Technical Support Consultant and Responsible Digital Referent at Jalios. With a focus on the feedback workshop given by Michel Roux, Deputy Director of the Digital Service at the Loire-Atlantique Department, concerning the RGESN audit of their website, carried out jointly with the Department, Jalios and Océane Puech, co-founder of Greenscale and member of the Boavizta Board of Directors.
The Greentech Forum is much more than just an event for us: it's a platform for reflection and innovation around sustainable digital technologies. For the past three years, our presence has reflected our desire to make an active contribution to the sector's ecological transition.
Each edition is an opportunity to share our progress, learn from our peers and reinforce our commitments. We make it a point of honour to incorporate this learning into our strategy, whether to optimise our software, reduce its environmental footprint or co-build solutions with our partners.
AI, and in particular generative AI, is becoming a central lever in this approach. We are exploring how it can simplify processes while limiting energy impact. But as Hoang-Anh Phan, Transformation Director at Jalios, reminds us in her article, it is crucial to develop responsible governance to control its use.

Jalios has been actively committed to responsible digital since 2020, focusing on ethical and sustainable practices, and was awarded the Level 2 Responsible Digital Label in 2022.
This year has highlighted clear priorities: eco-design, digital sobriety and collaboration between players. These issues, which are at the heart of our approach, were enriched by discussions with experts and partners.
One highlight: the growing role of innovative tools such as AI in supporting this transformation. If used responsibly, AI can help to analyse, optimise and reduce the environmental impact of digital infrastructures.
One of the highlights of this year's event was the feedback we received from the Département de Loire Atlantique, a Jalios customer. Our customer was able to talk about the eco-design audit they carried out on their website, using the Référentiel Général d'Écoconception de Services Numériques (RGESN). This collaboration, supported by Greenscale's expertise, covered all aspects of this improvement process: planning, assessment and prospects. A fine example of partnership to inspire other players to adopt more responsible digital practices.
Furthermore, as part of its commitment to a responsible digital approach, Jalios has implemented eco-design practices in the development of its solutions, inspired by the RGESN published by DINUM. As a result, Jalios Workplace Liberty has been awarded a sobriety score of 72/100 by Greenspector.
Absolutely. Their expectations are changing, and they're asking us to incorporate more sustainable practices into their projects. We respond with a concrete approach:
With over 500 customer organisations and more than 2.3 million users, we are working to raise awareness of these issues and gradually integrate responsible digital practices into their daily lives.
After this forum, we're continuing to innovate to keep moving towards ever more responsible solutions.
Our priorities include:
We firmly believe that a more environmentally-friendly digital world is possible, provided we place responsibility at the heart of every initiative.
Together, let's move towards a sustainable digital future.
