For the second year running, Jalios is proud to sponsor Find Yourself, an association under the French law of 1901 that promotes gender equality through female empowerment. Created in 2018, this women's club brings together women from diverse and varied backgrounds who share a desire to go further, higher in their personal lives and/or careers. These women also share the need to get together to discuss issues that concern them.
At Jalios, we're keen to support this cause by sponsoring Find Yourself, we're working to promote the place of women in tech and to create an environment where their talents are fully valued.
Here's a look back at this partnership with Clémence Mouellé Moukouri, founder of Find Yourself, and Julia Savariaux, Events and Partner Marketing Manager at Jalios, and volunteer for the association.
Clémence :
I founded Find Yourself 6 years ago because I wanted to create authentic, non-judgemental forums for women to express themselves, as well as a powerful women's network where kindness and sisterhood reign supreme. At Find Yourself, women express themselves freely, help each other and explore new avenues of thought and concrete solutions to their personal and professional development issues.
We have 4 areas of action:
For the second year running, Find Yourself has been awarded the UN Women France x Génération Égalité Voices label in the ‘Equality Accelerator’ category.
Julia :
Ever since I was young, I've been interested in voluntary work and humanitarian travel, and I was keen to get involved in a project that was in line with my values. 2 years ago, I was in the middle of some personal development and I came across the Find Yourself association, which was offering a job as an events manager. I jumped at the chance, especially as I share the same values as the association. It's clearly helped me to learn about myself in all areas, and to build up my self-confidence. Since June 2024, I've been in charge of events and a member of the administration committee, which is similar to my position at Jalios, where I'm Head of Events and Director of Partnerships.
Julia :
For the past 3 years, in conjunction with International Women's Rights Day in March, Find Yourself has been organising Empowerment Month: an inclusive festival highlighting women and gender minorities in all their diversity. Each week of the month, we offer different event formats to invite everyone to reflect, discuss, share and act with kindness and impact on social issues that are still taboo or too rarely discussed.
Jalios' sponsorship enabled us to finance the 4th edition of this ambitious and meaningful festival. The funds granted were used to finance: a venue in Paris intramuros to host the festival, speeches, equipment, event logistics, communication and promotion of the event.
We were able to cover all these topics :
Clémence :
In return for this sponsorship, we offered free tickets to all the Empowerment Month events, as well as working with Jalios on setting up a round table dedicated to the place of women in tech, or on how companies are working to value female talent and what more they can do. We also hosted a Jalios Live Pitch, an internal conference that Jalios offers its employees with topics designed to raise awareness of issues or encourage the sharing of information and ideas.
