The creation of the High Authority of Health by the Act of August 13, 2004, from ANAES (National Agency for Accreditation and Evaluation in Health) and part of the AFSSAPS (the former drug agency), has resulted in an extension of the missions (including the certification of physicians), new targets and a new organization.

The context

Given the new situation by the Act of August 13, 2004, and to take into account the recommendations of the Court of Auditors of a more coherent policy of its information system, the ISD has proposed the implementation of an ambitious urban development plan covering 3 years.

The Structure Plan includes:
  • 4 projects of organization and pooling of resources
  • 14 development projects of information systems services to accompany the teams work in current and future
  • 15 technology projects to stabilize and optimize the existing architecture and support new services including a web portal

The need

The purpose of the Internet portal of the HAS is in particular:
  • to publicize and promote the institution and its news
  • allow the user quick access and ergonomic with all productions of the HAS Is a major vector for dissemination of all its work

The solution proposed by JCMS Jalios met all points of the specification.

The solution

The new site went online 10 November 2006. A search engine more efficient and new opportunities compared to the old site are available to Internet users, in particular the subscription personalized e-mail alerts based on their interests.

All publications of the HAS are freely searchable and downloadable and come with a sheet of synthetic presentation.

Over 7,000 publications are available, including 3000 advice on drugs, and health benefits, more than 2,700 results for certification of health facilities, 340 press releases and press kits, etc..

end of 2006, more than 250,000 Internet users had visited the site.
