The challenges

Facilitate access to information (documents and structured content), communicate, work collaboratively, conduct transversal projects. Meeting these challenges often requires departitioning of the organization, faster (and better informed) decision-making, and better exploitation of operational and strategic knowledge.

Enterprise intranet portal: French Electricity Transport Network (RTE)

The "RTENet" Intranet portal is a veritable productivity tool that facilitates daily internal communication and information distribution and provides valuable support for the company's functional processes: procurement, legal, human resources, etc. Jalios JCMS was chosen because of its user-friendliness, ease of configuration and use - and for its "website factory" features. In 2008, more than 50 departmental sites are managed on the same server.

Mr. Heeramum, RTENet project manager, explains: "The project involved three stages. First, the constitution of a base for building future sites and the creation of a pilot site. This was followed by the migration of existing sites and finally by the building of new ones[...] We are extremely pleased with the success of our project."
