One original feature of Jalios' business strategy is to combine the traditional ISV development approach with the advantages of the open-source system, notably open platforms and the creation of an active community. Applying the traditional model, Jalios has built its business by developing innovative, easy-to-use software well matched to business needs. It is constantly attentive to users' needs and provides reactive support.
In parallel, the publisher has created a user community and made its platform open and compliant with a large number of industry standards. Its community site JaliosXperience now has almost a thousand members.

Jalios reinvents the software publisher business
Today's content management software market is dominated by big American software firms challenged by a multitude of smaller players from the open-source world. In recent years it has seen strong restructuring with buyouts of many pure players by the leading publishers. In this environment, the approach adopted by Jalios, combining the best of traditional software development and open-source, is rare and audacious. Jalios' experience has underlined the need for user-friendly solutions to meet the needs of enterprises and administrations, and the value of direct contacts with final users, of visibility of new releases, and of course the reactive support particularly appreciated by large companies. Jalios has gone for an open, extensible platform, as in the open-source world, and adopted many industry standards. Visitation figures steadily increasing
The Jalios community has grown very fast. This year the number of "Privilege" members is up by 92% and the number of monthly connections has quadrupled. The JaliosXperience community site owes its success to the quality of the JCMS solution, its openness and the possibility of downloading the application then proposing development collaboration or new services around the platform.
