The [[http://www.cg44.fr] [General Council of Loire Atlantique]] provides a public service mission to the residents and municipalities in the department, particularly in the areas of solidarity, infrastructure, transportation, education, environment, economy and culture. The department is divided into 59 cantons, each elects a General Counsel for six years. Its annual budget is approximately one billion euros.

The General Council employs 4,000 staff of the territorial civil service organized into five branches: Coordination, Resources, Development, Equipment, and Solidarity, which must be added the Office of the President.

The need

Under the proposed redesign of its intranet site, the General Council of Loire-Atlantique wanted to have a tool for content management and portal to optimize its best to ensure its information and communication with its agents.

Previously, content management was very limited with centralized updates, without any real ability to identify obsolete information and promote the documentary.

Moreover, the General Council of Loire-Atlantique wanted to upgrade its intranet to a collaborative version.
