Guillaume Derrien has solid experience of conducting IT projects, having spent eight years with CapGemini where he was also in charge of customer relationship management. Recruited by Jalios as a professional support consultant in January 2006, his promotion is intended to underpin the publisher's customer-centric approach based on reactivity, close contact and a high level of commitment. Jalios has developed the JCMS solution that enables large companies to optimize their information management using enterprise intranet portals or a multi-site Internet.

In recognition of his performance in his previous functions, Jalios has promoted Guillaume in order to draw on his project management experience, to implement methodologies tried and tested in large organizations, and to head the team of Jalios consultants. In future he will provide the interface between customers and the R&D service. Guillaume Derrien explains: "My prime mission is to guarantee exemplary quality of service and satisfaction of our major accounts and integrator clients. In my role as manager, I shall organize, support and stimulate my team of specialists to draw maximum benefit from their work, while paying particular attention to their individual career development and professional satisfaction." A graduate of the highly reputed EPITA (IT and Advanced Techniques) engineering school in Paris, Guillaume Derrien, aged 32, has specialized in software engineering. He joined Capgemini in 1998 and stayed for 8 years, working successively as analyst-programmer, technical manager, project manager and quality specialist. |
